How are you planning for your golden years? Do you imagine living with adult children or going solo? Assisted living or nursing home? Who will your caregivers be and how do you finance a longer life? Whether you’re 30 years old or 60, it may be essential for you to visualize what you want for your future and create a blueprint now, before a sudden event takes choices out of your hands.

We’ll talk to an elder care expert on how to prepare yourself for old age. Joy Loverde, author of Who Will Take Care Of Me When I’m Old, joins the Morning Shift to talk about how to financially prepare for retirement, how to create a social network, and get a plan on paper. We’ll also go to the phones to hear how listeners are preparing for their later years.
