As LGBT History Month comes to a close, here’s how some Chicagoans are honoring and building off of local queer histories.
Between 1995 and 2015, Amigas Latinas provided a space for Chicagoland Latina lesbians and bisexual women to gather and support one another. But the organization’s history and impact continues on in Gerber/Hart Library and Archives.
