We’re used to science fiction that’s loud, action-driven and full of the latest high tech hardware and CGI effects. Not Never Let Me Go. Based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, this film is remarkably quiet. It’s definitely dystopic, but the plot revolves around a love story, not a race against the end times. The alternate universe it takes place in? Of all things, a British boarding school, circa the 1970s.
