Netherfriends is the solo project of Chicago musician Shawn Rosenblatt. Sometimes Shawn is joined by other musicians but most of the time he’s alone roaming the country on a perpetual tour. Last April, Shawn finished his 50 Songs / 50 States project and since then he has been releasing albums with these semi-improvisational, semi-spontaneous atmospheric compositions built on loops, odd percussion and airy vocals.

Shawn is back in Chicago for a few months before he embarks on another tour and a whole another slew of musical projects that fuel his passion for music. He joins Jesse Menendez on Vocalo’s MusicVox.
