Illinois State Senator Rickey Hendon just published a book titled: Black Enough, White Enough: The Obama Dilemma. The book chronicles Barack Obama’s rise to the presidency, and Hendon pulls no punches. For starters, he says there was some animosity between himself and the president hen Mr. Obama first arrived in the state senate 12 years ago.

Senator Hendon has a book signing Thursday night at 7:30. It’s at Barbara’s Books, located at 1218 S. Halsted in Chicago.
