For decades, David Gutierrez was an architect. He helped manage large construction projects in Chicago and across the globe. Gutierrez recently retired. As part of our Storycorps series, a few weeks ago his granddaughter, 9-year-old Harper, interviewed him about his career — and about ancient technology, like fax machines.
