Here in Chicago, we’ve become familiar with some invasive species, particularly those that affect Lake Michigan. And one of the major threats to our ecosystem has been the Asian carp. Faculty members at Western Illinois University just received thirty thousand dollars to continue their study on mitigating the Asian Carp invasion.
