Muslims around the world will celebrate the end of Ramadan this week. Many will gather with friends and families for Eid, a celebratory feast to mark the end of a month of fasting. Reports in the media have suggested that an end to the holiday also comes with an increased security risk and the potential for terrorists attacks. Imam Malik Mujahid, the founder of Radio Islam, says there is nothing about the holiday that connects it to terrorism. The stories, he says, are simply due to Islamophobia.
