Thousands of Illinois residents at risk of losing Medicaid

People with Medicaid received uninterrupted health care during the pandemic, but that benefit is ending April 1.

Hundreds of thousands of Illinois residents could lose access to Medicaid starting this summer. People enrolling in Medicaid this year will need to submit information, such as proof of household income, to keep their benefits.
