Tom Tunney becomes the latest Chicago alderman to announce his retirement

Ald. Tom Tunney, 44th, announced Tuesday that he won’t seek reelection in 2023. He’s just the latest in a wave of aldermen who have resigned, announced their retirements or thrown their hats into the ring in the mayoral race.
