Transgender teens look to find their voice

As more transgender individuals make the full transition, some still struggle to adjust their vocal chords and take on speech patterns that better align with the gender in which they identify. Lurie Children's Hospital and Northwestern University gives patients the tools to adjust their voice. We discuss the impact of the program with professionals from both Lurie and Northwestern and a teen participant. (Flickr/yugenro)
