Trump Seals $250B In Trade Deal During China Visit

Many people may not know how popular President Donald Trump is in China. Chinese call him “Donald the Strong” and even created online fan clubs for him.

On Wednesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed Trump to the Forbidden City, the ancient home that housed Chinese emperors for 500 years. During the visit, Trump pressed Xi to work hard to rein in North Korea. U.S. companies, including aircraft maker Boeing, also announced the signing of deals worth $250 billion in total.

Ely Ratner, former deputy national security adviser to Vice President Joe Biden and senior fellow for China studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, joins us to analyze Trump's visit.
