Rep. Luis Gutiérrez gave this keynote address for today’s release of an 82-point agenda developed by the Latino Policy Forum. He voiced support for the agenda, but urged the audience of 350 people to keep fighting for immigrant rights.

“If not us, no one else will,” Gutiérrez said. “We have a responsibility to respond for the 10, 12, 14 million undocumented workers that live in our society.”

The event took place at the U.S. Federal Reserve building in downtown Chicago. Maricela García, the forum’s executive director, introduced the Congressman.
