WBEZ Wants Your Stories About Life After A Year Of The Pandemic

WBEZ brings you fact-based news and information. Sign up for our newsletters to stay up to date on the stories that matter.

In March last year, COVID-19 started to hit Illinois. On March 21, Gov. JB Pritzker’s statewide stay-at-home order went into effect. Nothing has been the same since.

To mark one year of life during a pandemic, WBEZ wants to hear from you.

Tell us about how your life has changed over the course of this past year — in 600 words or less. Has your relationship with someone changed? Has the pandemic altered your priorities in life? Have you learned something meaningful during this time about yourself or the world? Creativity is welcomed and encouraged. Feel free to submit poetry, song lyrics or another written form.

WBEZ will select stories and work with the authors to produce the final pieces — to publish on our website at wbez.org or on air on 91.5FM.

Submit your story with the subject line “One Year Story” via email to news@wbez.org by midnight CT on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Please limit submissions to one per person.
