Plus, every summer Hands of Peace brings Israeli and Palestinian teens to the suburbs. Many arrive angry about their situation back home. WBEZ’s Lynette Kalsnes met a few of the kids to see how the program changed their understanding of the seemingly intractable politics of the Middle East.
