As part of his national “justice tour,” guitarist Tom Morello and several of his friends performed at yesterday’s May Day rally in Chicago’s Federal Plaza.

Morello, a Chicago native, helped form the bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. Joining him on stage were musicians Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), Boots Riley (the Coup), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Ben Harper, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings.

This 18-minute set ended with a rousing sing-along, Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land.” LANGUAGE ADVISORY: The recording includes language that may not be suitable for children or sensitive adults.
