What’s Next For Madigan’s House Seat And Democratic Party Leadership

After serving 50 years in the Illinois House, Michael Madigan’s hand-picked state Rep. Edward Guerra Kodatt to take over his position. However, after alleged misconduct against Kodatt surfaced, he resigned from the 13th Ward job after only three days being sworn in, reinforcing the 22nd District’s “zero tolerance policy in the workplace.”
