An 8th inning RBI single by Jermaine Dye was all the scoring the White Sox needed to top the Astros in game 4 of the World Series.

Top notch pitching from both teams kept the scoring to a minimum. White Sox starting pitcher Freddy Garcia threw 7 shut-out innings, and the Chicago bullpen was able to keep Houston scoreless though the 8th and 9th.

Following the last out, a wild celebration broke out on the pitchers mound of Houston’s Minute Maid Park. Meantime, fans in Chicago poured into the streets to toast their team’s victory.
