Whitney Young High School Commits To Fair Trade

Whitney Young High School has been designated as Chicago’s first Fair Trade School. That designation recognizes the school’s commitment to educating students about fair trade, a movement aiming to ensure that goods worldwide are ethically and sustainably produced. Whitney Young students are showing pride in their school at Friday’s World Fair Trade Day celebration in Chicago. Worldview visits the celebration, where we hear from Anne-Michele Boyle Quinlan, a teacher at Whitney Young High School, and Audrey Reis, a sophomore at the school. They weigh in on why fair trade is a priority in 2019.
