Alexi Pappas has always ran to the beat of her own drum.

Besides being a world class distance runner, Pappas also writes a monthly  poetry column for Women’s Running magazine and she’s an actress who with her partner Jeremy Teicher just co-wrote, directed, produced and starred in her first feature film called Tracktown.

The film is premiering at the LA Film Fest this Saturday, June 4. She’s then scheduled to run the 10,000 meters for Greece in the Rio Olympics this summer.
