Your Daily COVID-19 Update: Chicago Opens First Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Site

The new site opened at Malcolm X College on the Near West Side Tuesday. The city’s top doctor was the first to be vaccinated there.

Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady received her first dose of the Pfizer vaccine Tuesday morning at one of the city’s new mass COVID-19 vaccination sites. Plus, vaccinations are underway at long-term care facilities around Illinois.
