We've been doing our Global Activism series for over 4 years now. Each week we hear from an individual who decided to make the world a better place. Our Global Activism Expo is tonight, so we thought we'd share with you some of our favorite Global Activism guests.

Nicaragua is the second poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, a nd for the deaf population in Nicaragua , the situation there is especially dire.   

Marie Coppola is the founder and co-chair of Manos Unidas. It's an organization that gives grants to deaf people and their families in Nicaragua .
