Each Thursday, in our Global Activism series, we hear about an individual who's decided to work to make the world a better place. Yousaf Chaman is with JAKCISS Oriental Rugs in Lahore, Pakistan. His company employs Pakistani artisans, who make heirloom-quality rugs, and pays them living wages. Their work is currently available in the fair trade store 10,000 Villages in Evanston, Illinois.
