Global Activism: Making Rugs and Improving Lives in Pakistan

Each Thursday, in our Global Activism series, we hear about an individual who's decided to work to make the world a better place. Yousaf Chaman is with JAKCISS Oriental Rugs in Lahore, Pakistan. His company employs Pakistani artisans, who make heirloom-quality rugs, and pays them living wages. Their work is currently available in the fair trade store 10,000 Villages in Evanston, Illinois. (10,000 Villages is hosting an oriental rug event through Saturday.) Jerome asked Chaman to tell us more about JAKCISS.
