U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that, “Failure to achieve agreement in Copenhagen would be morally inexcusable, economically short-sided and politically unwise.”

The UN Climate Change Conference begins in Copenhagen today. We'll talk with political scientist and ethicist Thomas Homer-Dixon about what the results of the conference may say about our society and it's values. Also, British researcher Tim Cooper thinks we can't cut carbon emissions without cutting consumption first.
