Vincent Chin was murdered in 1982 in Michigan, triggering a pan-Asian Civil Rights movement.

In our ongoing series Images Movies and Race, Worldview film contributor Milos Stehlik speaks with filmmaker Christine Choy, director of the Academy Award-nominated documentary "Who Killed Vincent Chin?" The film tells the story of a Chinese-American from Detroit who was beaten to death in 1982 by a Chrysler plant superintendent and his stepson. Lenient sentencing of the two men generated public outrage, giving birth to a pan-Asian Civil Rights movement.
