Protests continue in Kiev, despite a new emergency law

As many as 100,000 people gathered in Independence Square in the center of Kiev on Sunday to protest the government. People remain angry at the government’s decision to back away from an EU trade deal. Protesters defied a recent emergency law which had made it illegal to hold such gatherings. The protests turned violent and several people were injured in clashes with police. We’ll get an update from Rutgers University's political science professor Alexander Motyl.
