Syrian peace talks to begin without Iran

A new report obtained by The Guardian claims there is evidence that the Syrian government has carried out the "systematic killing" of approximately 11,000 detainees. The report comes just as peace talks are scheduled to begin on Wednesday in Geneva. The goal of the talks is to set up a transitional government and end the violence. Joshua Landis, director of the Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Oklahoma, joins us to discuss what’s at stake. (Photo: A.P./SANA)
