In her new documentary, Heart of a Dog, Glen Ellyn native and filmmaker Laurie Anderson, chronicles poignant moments of her life through stories of her deceased rat-terrier, the 9/11 terror attacks and the death of her husband, musician Lou Reed. Anderson sat down with Milos Stehlik earlier this week to talk about the personal challenges of making such an introspective film and what her dying, blind dog taught her about growing old. Heart of Dog opens today at the Music Box Theatre. (Photo: Flickr/Sean Connors)
