Anna Markowski believes that all Illinois residents should benefit from efficient and renewable energy. Her group, Elevate Energy, strives to create a community of energy-savvy consumers that will lobby energy companies and municipalities to aggressively seek sustainable energy sources, especially for low-income citizens. For our EcoHeroes segment, where we feature people who want to transform our environment and ecosystem, Markowski will tell us about her idea to throw “house parties” to have fun and educate about sustainability.
