It all started at a disappointing house party. “It just felt so uncomfortable,” Alessia Cara says. “Like, what are we celebrating? Like, what are we doing here, you know?” The 19-year old Ontario singer is turning her anti-party hit, “Here,” into a celebration of her talents. She has a Def Jam record deal, and last summer she appeared alongside The Roots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Nothing is unrealistic anymore,” Cara says of her success. Cara’s debut album is titled “Know It All.”
