Bruce Katz, co-founder of New Localism Advisors, sits down with Jenn White at the Chicago Council of Global Affairs.

During a live broadcast from the Pritzker Forum On Global Cities—one of the premiere events held each year by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs—Morning Shift checks in with some of presenters.

The forum is a three-day symposium where top urban thinkers and civic leaders convene to discuss city-based solutions to some of the world’s toughest problems—like climate change, affordable housing and migration.

In this segment, we talk to Bruce Katz, co-founder of the New Localism Advisors, about the importance of acting locally in this age of rising populism, and what makes a city strong.
