10th District Freezout?

While the Presidential Race is getting top billing across the nation and in Chicago, one of the most contentious and closely watched Congressional races of the night is taking place along Chicago’s North Shore in Illinois’ 10th District. But you wouldn’t know it from looking at these pictures. Normally, hotel ballrooms like these would’ve been crowded hours ago, but the focus on the Presidential race is sucking some of the oxygen out of the room, thus far at least. Our man Tony Arnold is covering the contest, which features 4 term incumbent Republican Mark Kirk against Democratic challenger Dan Seals. It’s a key seat for the Republicans to hold on to, and one the Dems are dying to snag. More to come.
