Blue Meets Blue Sells Fashion To Aid Refugee Women

The non-profit Blue Meets Blue was born out of a combination of a “passion for fashion" and graduate studies in international psychology.

Shahd Alasaly was researching her Master's thesis on what happens to refugees upon arrival to the U.S., when she co-founded Blue Meets Blue, which hires refugee women in the U.S. to make fashion. The company prioritizes flexible working hours at fair wages.

Alasaly tells us more about the "ethical clothing store” on Global Activism.
