That’s the fight building over a potential hotel in Chesterton, at the Indiana Dunes State Park.

Campers and beachgoers, many from surrounding states, including Illinois, travel to the state park during the summer.

Officials with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources want visitors year round.

But a plan to attract them isn’t being welcomed by all.
