The Chicago Police Board is expected to reveal the names of the three finalists for Chicago Police Superintendent at a meeting Thursday night. We talk with Former Baltimore Police sergeant Michael Wood Jr., one of the 39 candidates who applied for the job. 

Wood left the BPD in 2014 and has since garnered attention for his ideas about police reform and his vocal support of the Black Lives Matter movement. While he says he doesn’t expect to make the shortlist, Wood is the only candidate who has made his entire application for the job available to the public.
