Urban Rivers Works To Restore The Chicago River’s Ecosystem

The Chicago-based Urban Rivers group is working to create a park on the east side of Goose Island, as part of its mission to connect water “to the community by bringing together art, education and nature.”

Their vision for the park contains floating gardens, wildlife habitats and other environmental improvements.

Josh Yellin, Zachary Damato and Nick Wesley, the co-founding members of Urban Rivers, join us to tell us about their latest effort to restore the ecosystem of the Chicago River.
