Residents of west suburban Wheaton are fretting over a plan to demolish a 19th-century mansion, which has been home to a convent since 1948.
Crain’s Chicago Business real estate reporter Dennis Rodkin, who recently wrote about the plan, tells Morning Shift that the order—which has shrunk from 80 to just 9 nuns—needs the money that Atlanta-based developer Pulte Homes is offering.
