The Raven Theatre in association with the Indo-American Heritage Museum presents a staged reading of “Gandhi Marg” written by Anita Chandwaney and directed by Kaiser Z. Ahmed.

Heritage Matters: Food, Fire, & Family was a cultural demonstration event, where participants learned about German and Japanese traditions.After the demonstrations all joined at the table for food tasting from both cultures and a conversation about family meals.

This Heritage Matters panel discussion explores children’s health through the lens of mental and physical health, cultural identity, family and community dynamics.

In their roles as community connectors, these three organizations—American Indian Center, Bronzeville Historical Society, and Casa Michoacán—demonstrate that community-based heritage organizations are important contributors in addressing environmental concerns.
