Chicago Breaks Record For Early Voting

On the last day for early voting, people lined up down the street and around the block from the early voting super site in downtown Chicago. As of Sunday, 284,506 people cast an early ballot in Chicago. That’s up from the previous early voting record of 260,378 in the 2008 election. All Chicago early polling places close at 7 p.m. Monday. Some in the suburbs close at 5. Officials say anyone in line by closing time will be able to cast a ballot.
