Chicago Area Mosques Ramp Up Security After Weekend Violence

Muslim institutions in the Chicago area are ramping up security after recent incidents at mosques.

In Texas, a mosque was burned down on Saturday and on Monday six people were shot dead during prayer at a Quebec City mosque. At least one Chicago-area mosque received a threat this week by telephone.

About a dozen local imams plan to meet Wednesday to discuss heightened precautions.
