What does it mean to have one foot in India and one in America? Actress, playwright, and director, Minita Gandhi, tries to answer through her autobiographical dark-comedy play, Muthaland. This one-woman show explores a young Indian-American woman who is forever changed when, on a retreat to her homeland, she unearths family secrets, confronts sexual assault, and ultimately discovers her voice. Gandhi joins Worldview to share her emotional story.

Minita Gandhi performs “Muthaland” on Thursday, November 15th, 7pm at Benedictine University’s Goodwin Auditorium, 5700 College Road, Lisle, IL
