Weekend Passport: 'La Gringa' Explores Puerto Rican Identity

Each week global citizen Nari Safavi helps listeners plan their international weekend. This week, he’s joined by Miranda Gonzalez, the director of the play La Gringa from the UrbanTheater Company. 

The Obie Award-winning holiday comedy by Carmen Rivera has been running continuously off-Broadway since 1996, making it the longest-running Spanish play in off-Broadway history.
